I’ve been frantically trying to finish up UFOs b/c I told myself the same thing and there’s SO many things I want to cast on!!! Good luck!
UGH I KNOW! SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO KNIT! My ravelry queue is becoming insane.
I wish I was skilled enough to knit while I stationery biked. I guess it would be pretty easy with something plain…
Thanks! You too. Let this be the year of finishing projects when we start them.
Last night I organized all of my WIP knitting projects. God, I have so many. x.x
4 socks. A bolero. A blanket. Fingerless gloves. A hat. Yoga socks. Master knitting.
I need to stop starting so many projects.
New goal: Don’t make anything new until I finish all things on needles. Except I need to start the scientific parasite for my Doctor Princess cosplay. I could probably sew one out of felt, but I think knitting it would be faster for me.

Oh yeah, I also made this hat. It’s thick as fuck. I held a bulky and a worsted weight together. Unfortunately the bulky was Lopi, so it’s itchy as hell so I might line it with something softer. In the meantime I can deal because the damn wind won’t get to my ears with this baby on.
I finished it just in time for the 60 degree day we had today. Ha!
I made 1 yoga sock! Weee. Better pictures when I get the other done.

These actually look perfect to me. What don’t you like about it?
I wasn’t clear in my description, but I was referring to the knit stitches in the 1x1 rib. The little V shapes of the knit stitches look so wobbly and a bit drunk. It’s because there is a purl right after the knit so UGH. Not sure there is anything I can do about that. I might have to change how I purl to keep it even and tight. (I’m a Continental knitter.) I do like the the knit fabric in the second swatch. I’m impressed at my own ability to keep even tension.
This program is making me become so critical of my knitting ahahaha. But I guess that’s the point.
I’m in love/proud with/of the seed stitch swatch. I love touching it. It makes such a nice fabric.
Hey look what I found! I was going through my Ravelry projects page and found this. Look at my short short hair! This was probably taken about 1.5 years ago.
The pattern is Lady Kina. It was super easy to make and it’s super cute. The yarn is Knit Picks Wool of the Andes called Avocado.
30 Day Knitting Challenge!
Day 23: If you had the supplies (and patience) for it, what project would you start today?

Day 24: Have you ever made your own pattern or dyed your own yarn? How did it turn out?
Yes on both accounts.
Everything turns out pretty much how I want it.
Things I made up on the fly:

Yarn I’ve dyed, all with Kool Aid:

The blue, green, and orange yarn that is in stripes was what I dyed.
Day 21: Do you knit gifts for friends and family for the holidays or birthdays?
Yes! I love knitting for other people so much. I rarely knit anything for myself. I make it a point to knit something for the people I care about in my life. It’s to the point where they expect it now.
Dylan, his father, and my dad are the ones who seem to love the knitted gifts the most.
One fall/winter, we were going out to the movies or dinner or something, and while I was getting ready, Dylan came to get me and said, “I’m ready let’s go.” I turned to look at him and he had on every knitted thing I’ve made for him. A sweater, hat, cowl, socks etc. He looked so dorky but it was super cute.
